Jim Carrey says he will fight a wrongful death lawsuit launched against him in the suicide passing of his former girlfriend. Carrey says it’s exploitative and while he could “make it go away” with a settlement – he will fight against evil. Cathriona White used prescription drugs to overdose – her estranged husband says Carrey improperly obtained the drugs and then provided the drugs to her. Carrey said “I really hope that some day soon people will stop trying to profit from this and let her rest in peace.”
Corey Feldman says has been left “petrified” to leave his home after he was heavily criticized online for a “weird” performance on U.S. television. The Goonies star appeared on breakfast show Today on Friday to perform his new song Go 4 It with rapper Doc Ice and two women dressed as angels. However, the negative and cruel comments have left Corey hurt and saddened, and he openly sobbed in a since deleted Facebook Live post.
Members of Dancing with the Stars showed their support for Ryan Lochte last night by wearing heart-adorned T-shirts with the Olympian’s name. Meanwhile the network has beefed up security on the set. Protesters disrupted the show last week wearing anti-Lochte teeshirts.
The Breakfast Club star Anthony Michael Hall is under investigation after an alleged attack on his neighbour. The 48-year-old actor’s neighbour reportedly called the police claiming a violent altercation had left him with a broken wrist and a back injury. The alleged victim told police officers the dispute began when he left their condominiums’ shared gate open, after which Hall shouted to close the gate, walked over and slammed it shut before becoming aggressive. Security footage obtained by the gossip website purportedly showing the incident shows two men engaged in conversation before one is suddenly sent flying backward.
