Join the city of Orillia at The Waterfront Centre (Port of Orillia) construction kick-off on Friday, Sept. 23, at 10 a.m.
Meet with Orillia City Council, City staff, and Bradanick Construction Services to receive an overview of the project and to celebrate that construction is underway. The Orillia Waterfront Centre will include individual washroom, shower and laundry facilities for boaters, along with a community lounge that can be used for a variety of community events and programs year-round. Public washrooms with exterior access, additional park lighting, seating areas and landscaping will also help create a dynamic space for resident and visitor enjoyment. The anticipated completion of the $2.3-million Orillia Waterfront Centre project is May 2017.
