Roger Waters is clear on where he stands with Donald Trump. During his set at the Desert Trip Music Festival Sunday he put an image of Trump’s face up on a video board with the word “Charade” written across it. It also showed Trump wearing a Ku Klux Klan hood. As if that wasn’t clear enough, there were large balloons shaped like a pig floating above the audience _ the pigs had Trump’s face painted on the side with the words “Ignorant, lying, racist, sexist pig.”

The world may never get to see outtakes from The Apprentice (hosted by Trump) – unaired footage from the show exists that many people say depicts even more and even worse sexism against contestants and staff by Donald Trump – The executive producer of the show, Mark Burnett, says he doesn’t have the right to release the footage. And M-G-M, which owns Burnett’s production company, also says it can’t legally release the footage. The Associated Press asked Burnett earlier this year to provide original footage from The Apprentice. Things that make you go “hmmmmm”.
NBC a hot mess right now – that video showing Trump and Billy Bush exchanging lewd remarks about women was supposed to be relased by NBC – but they took too long – at least 4 days – in part because they were trying to get approval to edit Bush out – but the delay allowed the leak – which ahs been described as purposeful and high level – to go out to the Washington Post who received it and had it out there within four hours – now NBC has suspended Bush indefinitely from his Today show duties… . “Today” Executive Producer Noah Oppenheim said in a memo Sunday that “there is simply no excuse for Billy’s language and behavior on that tape.”” Bush, 44, has been brutalized on his own Facebook page since the tape surfaced. Bush issued a statement Friday apologizing for his actions. He is reportedly afraid his career can’t recover from this.
SNL was brilliant this weekend – Alec Baldwin was back – of course – and was blistering as Trump – and Tina Fey and Jimmy Fallon showed up to Update to play undecided voters in the American election – good stuff.
Last but not least – David Letterman may be retired and out of the game, but his mouth is still running, and he had a few choice words for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. Letterman was very candid with The New York Times in a recent interview, calling Trump “a damaged human being” and saying his reluctance to apologize about anything makes him a “person to be shunned.”
