Members of the Ontario Provincial Police, Child Sexual Exploitation Unit and the Nottawasaga OPP have charged an Alliston man following a six week internet luring and child pornography investigation.
During the investigation, it was learned that the suspect utilized his position as an employee at the Stevenson Memorial Hospital to gain contact information about the victim.
As a result of this investigation, police seized eleven computers and one external data storage device. The devices are pending further forensic analysis.
Jared Connor NOLAN, age 34 years, of Alliston has been charged by the OPP with three counts of Internet Luring, one count of Transmitting Sexually Explicit Material to a Person under 18 Years of Age, one count of Distribution of Child Pornography and one count of Possession of Child Pornography.
The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
The investigation is continuing.
