Today’s Dr. Phil focuses on The Shining star Shelly Duvall and mental illness. In the preview for today’s episode, 67-year-old Duvall — best-known for her role opposite Jack Nicholson in The Shining – but also for starring opposite Robin Williams in Popeye is described as a “near recluse” with “unusual beliefs.” For example she believes Robin Williams is not dead and claims to have seen him. When Dr. Phil asks where she thinks Williams is, she replies, “Shape-shifting.” She also says she’s been threatened by the “Sheriff of Nottingham” and believes there is a “worrying disc” inside her leg. She then admits, “I’m very sick. I need help.”

The Presidents Of The United States Of America say they have “quietly retired.” Singer Chris Ballew (bah-LOO’) writes on Facebook the reason no one has heard from them since last year is because they are “no longer functioning as a band.” Ballew initially said it was because they are “old people now,” but corrected that to say, “It is just time to move on.” PUSA’s biggest hits were “Peaches” and “Lump” in the mid-1990s. Their version of “Cleveland Rocks” was used as the theme song for “The Drew Carey Show” from 1997 to 2004.

A judge in Atlanta on Thursday ordered Bobbi Kristina Brown’s partner, Nick Gordon, to pay $36 million in a wrongful death case, her estate’s lawyers said. Gordon’s culpability comes from the fact that he lived there and was present when she was found unresponsive who also lived there, and a friend were listed on the police report as being in the home when investigators arrived there.
