The City of Orillia is offering free public skating at Brian Orser Arena and Rotary Place this holiday season.
With help from numerous community partners, the City of Orillia is opening its two arenas for families to enjoy free skating at various times throughout the holidays. Free public skating will run Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016 to Thursday, Jan. 5, 2017. Public skating will return to regular paid programming on Friday, Jan. 6, 2017. In past years, the holiday public skate program has been enjoyed by more than 2,000 skaters annually. The City of Orillia would like to give special thanks to the numerous partners who make this program successful. These partners include: Tim Hortons, Leah Cavanaugh – Sales Rep. of Orillia Century 21 B.J. Roth Realty., The Office of Bruce Stanton M.P., Centre Ice Café, Orillia Power, Mayor and City Council, #Orillia150, and Emmanuel Orillia.
Sponsorship opportunities are still available. Sponsoring a public skate is an excellent way to say thank you to the public, your clients and your staff. For more information regarding sponsorship opportunities, contact Michael Ladouceur at 705-325-2050.
