Team Canada made mince-meat out of Slovakia at the World Junior Hockey Championship. They handily beat them 5-0 but adding insult to injury outshot the Slovaks 44-6. That’s right, they only allowed 6 shots on next for the entire game. It was like Tyson fighting an infant!
Canadian Goaltender Connor Ingram, on his shut-out said “A lot of guys worked a lot harder than I did to make my job pretty simple tonight”
The six shots tied a record-low for Canada at the tournament dating back to 1983 when we crushed Norway 13-0.
Can we just skip ahead and play the Russians in the final already?
