Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder performed at President Barack Obama’s farewell address to the nation in Chicago last night. Joined by members of the Chicago Children’s Choir, Vedder performed his own “Rise,” Patti Smith’s “People Have The Power,” Neil Young’s “Rockin’ In The Free World” and the anti-apartheid anthem “(Something Inside) So Strong.”
Vedder and Obama are pretty tight, he also attended their farewell party at the White House Friday night.
