Talk about good timing.
Barrie Police managed to stop a bank robbery in progress around 2PM Wednesday afternoon. The reason? Police just happened to be there when it occurred.
A 32 year old male attempted to hold up the BMO at Collier and Mulcaster just across from city hall, when he was stopped by two officers that happened to be entering the bank at the time.
The suspect was found with a knife on his person, he’s currently in custody and facing robbery and weapons charges.
