Brock University isn’t mad at their students, they’re just disappointed.
Brock and their students union issued a statement over the weekend condemning the actions of its students on St Patrick’s Day.
“On behalf of the Brock University Students’ Union, we would like to apologize for what took place Friday,” said Curtis Gadula, Director of Student Life and Communications for BUSU. “We pride ourselves on the many students who give so much back to our community, and we find it embarrassing that students were involved in this incident.”- The Brock News
When Niagara Regional Police responded to break up a group of 3,500 partiers, officers were pelted with snowballs and beer cans.
The statement says “These deplorable actions do not reflect Brock University’s culture or values”
Brock’s student union helped cleaned up litter in campus neighborhoods.
