Dave Chappelle released two new specials to Netflix this week, both being his first stand-up specials since “For What It’s Worth” in 2004.
However, political correctness has changed quite a bit since 2004.
Some jokes in his first special have led to accusations of transphobia/homophobia:
Tried to watch the new @DaveChappelle specials on Netflix last night. I was laughing my ass off until I had to turn it off. So transphobic.

If you haven't watched the Dave Chappelle show, yet…
There is hateful Transphobic speech being said during:
25:00 – 38:00

However, others have stepped up to Dave’s defense, such as GQ Magazine’s style writer:
i don't like the fact that dave chappelle now feels the need to explain his own jokes mid show because he's worried about offending people

Dave Chappelle hasn’t offered any statement on the matter.
