Midland Police was called to the downtown area Monday morning after receiving a complaint about a disturbance possibly involving weapons.
When Police got there the suspect posed as a victim and said he was fine and didn’t need any help. Officers then spoke with witnesses who later identified that the person police had been speaking with, was in fact the subject who had pulled a gun from the waistband of his pants and had been waving it around.
Officers arrested the suspect with weapons offences. The gun was recovered and found to be an air-soft bb pistol. 38 year old Travis Fougere of Midland was charged with numerous weapon offenses.
