Well, we don’t know if that means Simcoe is causing you to have heart problems, but that’s what the numbers show.
Latest numbers compiled by Canadian researchers tallied the number of cardiac events per 1,000 people in many different area’s of Ontario, and found numbers to be higher in Ontario’s norther regions. 4.1-5.7 cardiac events were reported per 1000 people in North Simcoe/Muskoka.
Strangely enough, less cardiovascular events were reported in Toronto. More problems were also found from London towards Windsor.
It’s not known if the local environment has anything to do with this, but the figures are interesting to look at.
