WARN Range Suspension (Bradford, ON) On Friday, March 31, 2017, around 4:00 p.m., a South Simcoe Police Traffic & Marine constable was patrolling Bradford when he saw a driver disobey a stop sign. When he spoke to the driver, the officer noted the smell of alcohol on the driver’s breath. A roadside screening device test was administered and the result was a WARN. The 26 year old Bradford man had his licence suspended for three days. He was also charged with Disobey Stop Sign, Drive No Licence and Fail To Surrender Insurance.
Breach Recognizance (Bradford, ON) On Saturday, April 1, 2017, around 11:30 a.m., a patrolling South Simcoe Police constable saw a man and woman walking together on Professor Day Drive. The officer knew that the man had been arrested for assaulting the woman earlier in the week and that the man was on release conditions to avoid the victim. A 24 year old man from Everett was arrested and charged with Breach Recognizance. He was later released from custody with a new court date and updated conditions.
Drive Under Suspension (Bradford, ON) On Sunday, April 2, 2017, around 9:45 a.m., a South Simcoe Police Traffic & Marine constable was patrolling Bradford when he saw a driver disobey a stop sign. When he stopped and investigated, he discovered that the 20 year old Bradford woman had been suspended since December. She was charged with Drive Under Suspension, Disobey Stop Sign, Operate Without Insurance and Possess Revoked Licence. Her car was impounded for 7 days and she was given a May court date.
