Would you go to this restaurant? What would you do, if you took the family out for dinner and the restaurant put a limit on what you can drink?
That’s exactly what a New York restaurant has done. They decided to limit parents’ alcohol intake when they dine with their kids-and plan to drive home.
The GM at Peddlers Bar & Bistro in Clifton Park, New York, said she fears for the safety of drunken adult drivers and the children who accompany those drivers, and she hopes to prevent unnecessary accidents.
How do they implement the policy?
Restaurant employees explain the policy to adults upfront.
How is that going?
Most families are cool with the new policy and totally understand. Some wait-staff, however, have gotten an earful from some angry parents. They have the choice to stay or they can leave and eat somewhere else.
How would you react if you got your favourite family restaurant and they told that you were limited in the amount of alcohol you could consume?
I am usually the DD; this wouldn’t both me to much-how about you?
