It’s like American Horror Story meets The Walking Dead!
These photos were sent in to a Baton Rouge TV station and it shows blood leaking onto the street behind a local funeral home.
This is the second macabre funeral home out of the States in less than 6 months. A funeral home in Michigan was shut down in July due to multiple violations, including the presence of maggots, human blood and rotting corpses stored without refrigeration.
The pictures show The Greenoaks Funeral Home in Baton Rouge and they show a substance leaking from a valve on the property. The substance, according to a city official, was blood mixed with Formaldehyde.
It was determined that a tank behind the funeral home which stores excess fluid used in the embalming process was leaking due to a blockage in the line. The leak lasted for 20 minutes.
The City has determined that because the leak was on private property, it would not run into the city’s sewer system. They city says the funeral home is under new management and did not have a permit.
The city is looking to get the funeral home signed up for a permit.
