I don’t even know how this could happen?
How do you get up and go, as a family, to a corn maze (or to any event) and then go home and completely forget that you had taken your toddler along?
That’s exactly what happened to a 3-year-old Utah boy was reunited with his parents Tuesday morning after his parents left him at a corn maze overnight.
Around 8 p.m. last night the boy was handed over to police officers working security at the Crazy Corn Maze in West Jordan, Utah.
Security informed guests that they had a missing child- and repeated the announcement quite a few times but nobody came to claim the boy.
Closing time came and went and still no one came for the boy and no phone call from worried parents?
An officer called the Utah Division of Child and Family Services, who took the child in for the night.
On Tuesday morning at around 7:40 a.m., the parents of the child called West Jordan Police Department and reported the child missing.
The parents woke up and realized the child was gone after they got home from the corn maze.
What-you didn’t realize you were missing him when you went to bed?????????????????????
Police told the parents that Child Services had the boy.
No citations or charges have been filed as of yet, according to Police but the case is still being investigated.
