Jaromir Jagr, the oldest player in the NHL, has a new team in Calgary which is also his first stop at a Canadian franchise in a storied career. His lifetime stats only topped by Wayne Gretzky, the elder stateman of the league has also been immortalized with online meme’s and fan tributes to his mullet haircut which he sported when enterting the league in 1990. There is even a group of fans who call themselves the ‘Travelling Jagrs’ who are self professed super fans and show off franchise jersey’s from various stops in Jagr’s career.. there was just one jersey missing.. a Calgary Flames one! This group met their idol and he presented them with a signed sweater!
